Ducati Announces the New Importer in Russia

Moscow, February 14, 2019 — Ducati announces the signing of a new importer agreement on the territory of the Russian Federation. Volkswagen Group Rus will become the official importer and will be engaged in sales, aftersales and marketing of the full model range of the legendary Italian motorcycles. In addition to motorcycles, the full range of spare parts, apparel and accessories of Ducati and Ducati Scrambler brands will be presented in Russia.


Ducati dealer network will cover the biggest cities in Russia, such as Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Chelyabinsk, Krasnodar, Sochi and Nizhny Novgorod. The full model range of Ducati brand will be presented in show-rooms, including Hypermotard, Multistrada, Monster, Diavel, XDiavel, SuperSport and Panigale models. The dealerships will be equipped in accordance with the highest brand’s standards, which will allow the customer to experience all benefits from the purchase and service of Ducati motorcycles. The import through the Volkswagen Group Rus will help to offer to the customers the wide model range, the faster service, and less waiting time for products delivery.

Oleg Snagovsky (36) is appointed head of Ducati brand in Russia. Oleg graduated from Moscow State University and in 2004 he began his career at BMW in the motorcycle sales department. In 2006, he became head of motorcycle sales and marketing at Honda motorcycle division, and in 2010 he headed BMW Motorrad division in the Avilon Automotive Group. Since 2016 he also was responsible for sales of MINI cars at Avilon.
